Greetings From Savannah
This project was done as an assignment for a class. The assignment itself was very open so I decided to pursue creating layouts based on Savannah's architecture specifically near Ellis Square. This is because I often find myself sitting in the square before or after work and I've always found the area interesting. I did the project primarily using Procreate so I could sit in the square while I worked instead of solely working from images.
Process
The process of these pieces started by trying to find a place to sketch. I wanted to find a place both appealing to look at but also near somewhere I could sit and work. I ended up settling on two locations: City Market, which I could see and draw from a bench in Ellis Square, and a street near the Cay building and the Whitacre Parking garage.
